Gay Priests May 'Marry'

But not have sex. I wonder how the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, thinks he is going to police/enforce such a ridiculous rule. The changes will also see some surprising outcomes for Episcopalian parishoners:

"The bishops have also agreed to a government request to change ecclesiastical law to favour civil partners. A change to the Pluralities Act of 1838, for example, will enable gay partners to occupy vicarages for up to two months after the death of a priest."

Perhaps in Britain at least they won't mind, since Henry VIII they've been rather partial to old Queens and reasonably lukewarm toward Christian truth. Across the pond, the US 'Bishop' Gene Robinson recently claimed that Jesus was gay!

DREADNOUGHT's heart goes out to faithful Christians* who've found their church constantly selling-out to every pressure of the modern age. The Episcopalian/Anglican slippery slope just became a big gay mudslide.

*(Faithful Christians who find they can no longer act in good conscience as Episcopalian priests can follow a steady and increasing tide of their brothers back into the one true Church).
